PROJECT 6

PROJECT 5

The second annual Tee It Up Fore Tara golf outing took place this past July. THF returned to Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, NJ for the second year. Hosting 116 golfers and nearly 150 total guests, the foundation raised just over $32,000 for our fight against maternal mortality.

This past May our Founder, Ryan Hansen, had the opportunity to share his story at the annual Every Mother Counts MPower luncheon. Interviewed by Deborah Roberts of 20/20, Ryan was able to talk about Tara's hospital experince, the after effects of losing a new mother and a number of other important topics.

PROJECT 8

We held the 3rd Annual Tee It Up Fore Tara golf outing at Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck this past summer. Our premier fundraiser, the 2015 installment of the event hosted 100 golfers and nearly 130 dinner guests. The event raised more than $35,000.

The Tara Hansen Foundation donated $50,000 to create an endowed scholarship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Each year a third or fourth year medical student specializing in OB/Gyn will receive scholarship funding in memory of Tara Hansen and the work of the Tara Hansen Foundation to increase maternal health awareness in hopes of improving maternal healthcare in the US.

PROJECTS

PROJECT 1

The foundation's first fundraiser began in April 2012. Tara loved to run in the Jersey Shore Grand Prix races. THF made t-shirts that read "I Run 4 Tara." This was our way to remember her and get the foundation off the ground. We continued that tradition this year and raised over $1000 in 2013. The proceeds were again donated to the West Freehold School where Tara taught to benefit the special education department.

PROJECT 2

The Tara Hansen Foundation hosted its 1st Annual Octoberfest, An Event to Prevent on October 20, 2012. Featuring local beers, wines and food for tasting, we hosted over 190 people and raised more than $16,000.

PROJECT 4

The foundation recently held To Have and To Hold; Maternal Safety and the Delivery of Safe Patient care. Co-sponsored with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, the conference took place November 6, 2013 and hosted nearly 300 interprofessional learners.

PROJECT 3

The foundation hosted its first golf outing, Tee it up for Tara, July 8, 2013. Taking place at Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, NJ, THF raised over $35,000 for their fight to improve maternal healthcare.
